A View From The Driver's Seat: 2 rounds left and I'm ready to finish the season on a high!

With just 2 meetings left on the 2012 British Touring Car Championship calendar, Frank Wrathall hopes to reward his team for all their hard work as he looks forward to Silverstone this weekend.

This weekend at Silverstone is a chance for me to show the team what a good job they have done this season.

Back at the end of August the team and I were in high spirits as we headed off to Knockhill to continue the second half of the season but luck was against us and we lost the engine in race 1 after a great qualifying. We were all gutted.

This set us back dramatically going into Rockingham and we were never quite on the pace, although the team did a magnificent job with the new engine and we learnt a lot. I feel much more confident now than I did a fortnight ago.

My aim for Silverstone and the final round at Brands Hatch is to give something back to the team for all of their hard work so far in 2012. They deserve some good luck and a great drive from me. Who knows, we might actually get a little bit of luck as well!

So, I will see you all at the weekend. Please feel free to come along and say hello, you know your support means a lot to me and the team.

Lots of love

Frank #11
