In a major team announcement it has been confirmed that Tom Onslow-Cole is to join West Surrey Racing for the 2012 Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship season as part of an exciting three-car team. Onslow-Cole will partner WSR's existing drivers Rob Collard and Nick Foster in the team which will again be running the fantastic handling BMW 320si under the eBay Motors team name.

"I believe eBay Motors has a very strong driver line-up for this year's championship." team boss Dick Bennetts said. "We have worked with Rob, Nick and Tom in the past and together they make a fantastic team."

New for this season, all three WSR cars will be fitted with NGTC-spec turbo engines being developed by the legendary Neil Brown Engineering who are also responsible for the engines fitted to the 2012 Honda Racing and Pirtek Racing NGTC Honda Civics. WSR have been busy over the winter developing their NGTC cars which will have the new BMW turbo-charged engines and should have vastly improved power and torque compared to their 2011 cars.

Tom Onslow-Cole said "This season I am looking to challenge for regular podiums as we certainly have the car to be at the front of the grid. I am counting down the days until the new season and can't wait to get started at Brands Hatch."

He won't have to wait much longer as the 2012 Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship gets underway at Brands Hatch on March 31st/April 1st.
