The Inside Track with Power Maxed Racing: Power Maxed Racing hits the track!

By Power Maxed Racing / MJP Media | 24 March 2015

Donington Park saw the big launch of the 2015 Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship today and both our cars were unveiled in front of the world's media in their new liveries.

The two Chevrolet Cruzes looked stunning in their Power Maxed Racing liveries: Dave Newsham's with his Coffee Drops livery and Josh Cook's #RacingforHeroes colour scheme. The press loved them both in the morning and we had fabulous feedback from our fans in the afternoon public session when Dave and Josh took them out on track.

Early in the morning we had been involved with the main BTCC launch with both Dave and Josh being interviewed on the main stage in front of the assembled photographers, journalists and TV crews. Multiple race winner Dave and exciting BTCC rookie Josh were grilled by Alan Hyde and gave a good account of themselves, proving to be great adverts for the team.

Next up it was the driver and car pictures in the pit lane and we were overwhelmed by the attention we were given by everyone. Despite this being our first season as team owners of Power Maxed Racing, we were made to feel very welcome and it was really a fantastic experience for everyone in the team, our sponsors and supporters.

There was no time for lunch as we had to get the cars ready for their first public run in the afternoon. The team worked incredibly hard and we were good to go. We don't hold much store in the media day timings as we are more interested in getting a few more miles under our belts and trying to make sure we are ready for the important launch - round 1 of the 2015 BTCC championship at Brands Hatch in 10 days' time.

We look forward to seeing you all at Brands Hatch and want to thank you for all the good wishes so far for the team and both the drivers. Rest assured, we are doing our best to make this season a memorable one for the team and our supporters and look forward to sharing all of our successes with you.
