The Inside Track with Power Maxed Racing: We're raring to go at Donington Park!

By Power Maxed Racing / MJP Media | 14 April 2015

After a successful meeting at Brands Hatch, Power Maxed Racing looks forward to Donington Park this weekend with further improvements to the cars.

Brands Hatch was brilliant for us as we learnt a lot and we feel we achieved a lot as well, especially given our limited running pre-season and the difficulty in getting a good run in the 3 races amongst all of those cars on the tight and short Brands Hatch Indy circuit.

Out of necessity we had to try a few things as we went along, most of them were brilliant and this showed in our pace throughout the weekend. Having got all of that information, we now feel really confident for Donington Park and we are sure that we have progressed over the last 4 weeks that we have been out and about in the cars.

Adam Weaver has been delighted with the progress since he bought the team. "Everyone has gelled superbly well." he told us. "Both Dave and Josh are similar types - hungry for success, proven race winners but genuinely nice guys as well. That goes a long way to helping the team move ahead and everyone is pulling in the right direction."

Dave Newsham was equally up-beat, saying: "We have certainly made significant progress in the last few weeks and Steven Brady my engineer has been fantastic. We tried something new in race 3 and despite my reservations it made a hell of a difference. We were even able to overtake Andy Priaulx who is not only an awesome driver, but has possibly the best car on the grid. Watch out for us at Donington, we certainly expect to be further up the field."

Josh Cook finally got serious time in the car at Brands Hatch and was very impressive. He too is looking forward to Donington Park: "Considering how far we have come so quickly, I am so impressed with the team and I am sure we will see further improvements this weekend. We have some ideas and I can't wait to put them into action!"

So we are looking forward to the weekend and we hope you will all come by the garage and say hello. Your support means a lot to us as a team and we will do our best to repay your faith.
