After the 2012 BTCC season went down to the wire at Brands Hatch in October, the excitement of the UK's premier motor racing championship will come to Autosport International this January. With their own display stand, the Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship is to be a key feature at the event to be held at Birmingham's NEC. Top drivers and cars from the BTCC will appear at the show on 12-13 January 2013, joining a star-studded line-up at Europe's biggest motorsport event.

Reigning BTCC champion Gordon Shedden will be joined at the show by Honda Yuasa Racing Team team-mate and triple BTCC champion Matt Neal to meet fans, sign autographs and provide an insight into the competitive series. Former double champion Jason Plato and the 2012 Independents Trophy winner Andrew Jordan will also be on hand with further names to be announced.

Visitors can also check out the spectacular 2.0-litre 300hp turbo-charged race cars from the BTCC in the flesh. A total of seven cars from seven different teams will be present, led by the title-winning Honda Yuasa Racing Team Honda Civic. Also appearing will be the MG KX Momentum Racing MG6 GT of Jason Plato along with the Rob Austin Racing Audi A4, eBay Motors BMW 320si, Welch Motorsport Proton Persona, Speedworks Racing Toyota Avensis and the Team HARD. Vauxhall Insignia.

"The 2012 Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship was one of the most exciting and competitive in history, with nine different race winners and a three-way title fight at the final round." said Alan Gow, BTCC Series Director. "We can't think of a better way to kick off 2013 than giving fans the opportunity to experience this phenomenal display at Autosport International."

Stewart will be joined by current racing legends Paul Di Resta from Formula 1 and multiple Le Mans 24 Hour victors Derek Bell and Allan McNish. Another massive name from the world of motorsport will be newly-crowned FIA World Touring Car Champion Rob Huff and three-time WTCC Champion Andy Priaulx who is currently racing in Germany's DTM for BMW.
