In the run-up to the 2014 Autosport International show we had the fantastic announcement that Andrew Jordan's talent has led him to a well-deserved Red Bull sponsorship deal. As a result of a developing relationship that started two years ago, Red Bull will work with Andrew as he defends the BTCC Drivers Championship crown he won in 2013. Andrew's crash helmet will be in the iconic blue and silver Red Bull livery.

"I'm delighted to be part of Red Bull's motor sport programme." said Jordan. "I've been working with the company for a couple of years now and have always used Red Bull to get mentally and physically prepared for races. It is great news that the partnership is stepping up a gear in 2014. I really hope this is the beginning of a long-term relationship and it is very good for me to be involved with such a strong brand."

As the show opened to the media, the first BTCC unveiling was the new livery for the Rob Austin Racing Audi A4 for the 2014 season. Exocet, who had sampled the BTCC in the second Rob Austin Racing Audi A4 last year, have come on board with a striking fire themed livery on the car which Rob's team will be running. Rob also has a new venture, allowing fans the ability to buy shares in the team and be a part of a proven race winning outfit.

The next major BTCC launch was the eagerly anticipated Toyota Avensis from Handy Motorsport which is joining the BTCC fray piloted by Renault UK Clio Cup veteran Simon Belcher. With major sponsorship from Kärcher, Simon is hoping to 'clean up' in the car which is being raced under the Handy Motorsport banner with the Speedworks Motorsport team.

The Autosport International show also provides fans the first opportunity to see the new Honda Civic Tourer being run by the Honda Yuasa Racing team in the hands of two former BTCC champions, Matt Neal and Gordon Shedden. This estate version of the Honda Civic replaces the hatchback Civic which has been so successful for the team. Other BTCC cars on display are the 2014 AmD Ford Focus of Dave Newsham and the MG KX Momentum Racing MG6 of Jason Plato.

With a host of world class motor sport on display, the 2014 Autosport International show is open to the public on January 11 & 12.
